Mid year 2025 Review
Early in May, I got myself out to a social art meetup group, and finally took a little trip to the mountains to paint, breath and find inspiration enjoying the view in the hot springs and pools in Glenwood Springs CO. Then in end of June I headed to the east coast with family cross country to spend summer.

Strategy Pivots
Over the last year, I met with a few marketing gurus who shared some truths. There is always room to tighten up your brand. A limited offering can be more effective. In recent years, I pivoted without accountability. It was time to return to a more analog approach:
✓ Review sales quarterly. Sales trends should inform future design
✓ Find trends in sales, color, pattern, style, and end use
✓ Collections should be updated regularly, not just added
✓ Observe trends, other artists, etc. BUT don’t be influenced in a way that minimizes your signature style
✓ Accountability - set expectations for partnerships and goals, and review regularly
✓ Quality over quantity for partnerships and marketing content.
✓ Diversify product types. Limit product competitors
